Welcome to
Conwy
Conwy is a fabulous 13th century North Wales town on the banks of the River Conwy, overlooked by a delightfully complete castle. It also boasts Britain’s smallest house – 10 feet deep, 6 feet wide and 10 feet high. Conwy Castle, a World Heritage Site, was a key part of the ‘iron ring’ of fortresses built around Snowdonia in the 13th century by Edward I to contain the Welsh.
