Welcome to
Clackmannanshire
Known as “The Wee County”, Clackmannanshire is Scotland’s smallest county and lies between the majestic Ochil Hills and the Fiver Forth. It boasts one of the best-preserved tower house castles in all of Scotland, Castle Campbell. Clackmannanshire is perhaps best known for its weaving industry, whose mills were powered by the Hillfoots Burns. The Hillfoots are famous for changing weaving from a cottage industry to an industrial process.
